ABOUT ME
I am a Canadian transplanted in Michigan right now. Work for an ISP and the legendary guitarist Dick Wagner who has co-written songs with Steve Perry!

I grew up mainly in Michigan and in 1975, when I was just 7 years old, I heard something that sparked interest in me, it was a song called Kohoutek, as it was playing on the radio. I was hooked. Why at that age? I dont know, but it has stuck with me ever since. I was a fledgling piano student at the time and I guess I just soaked in the melodies that Journey brought to the table. The rest is history...

My interests include music, hockey, music, movies and more music. I play keyboards and some guitar, and like to write music in my spare time.

My prized possessions: Unreleased Steve Perry demos! (Sorry cannot share them! so dont ask) - unless Journey wants to record them with Arnel!

Currently I am the webmaster for some famous and not so famous artists who's music is what I think most Journey fans would listen to. My clients include, Dick Wagner, Wensday, The Jim Cummings Band, and Donny Hartman.

Google their names and check out their music!

My favorite artists are:
Journey
Queen
ASIA
Peter Gabriel
Sammy Hagar
Dream Theater
Tall Stories
Alice Cooper
and many more....
FAVORITE LYRIC
Climbing up on Solsbury Hill
I could see the city light
Wind was blowing, time stood still
Eagle flew out of the night
He was something to observe
Came in close, I heard a voice
Standing stretching every nerve
Had to listen had no choice
I did not believe the information
(I) just had to trust imagination
My heart going boom boom boom
"Son," he said "Grab your things,
I've come to take you home."

To keep in silence I resigned
My friends would think I was a nut
Turning water into wine
Open doors would soon be shut
So I went from day to day
Tho' my life was in a rut
"Till I thought of what I'd say
Which connection I should cut
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
(Back home.)

When illusion spin her net
I'm never where I want to be
And liberty she pirouette
When I think that I am free
Watched by empty silhouettes
Who close their eyes but still can see
No one taught them etiquette
I will show another me
Today I don't need a replacement
I'll tell them what the smile on my face meant
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" I said "You can keep my things,
they've come to take me home."

Thanks for inviting me as one of your many JOURNEY friends. I'm glad to be a friend of yours too.

The SHOUTBOX appears lonelier without you. I enjoy reading your blogs too.

Yes, I had to change my photo profile to a Roger Dean; I guess it's only suitable. It's called "Dragon's Dream". The "Bushido Samurai" logo is starting to bore me since I've been using it for many years (I practice Kendo). Never met personally the band but I finally did watch the Originalasia on June 23, 2007 at Trump Marina in Atlantic City, NJ with my wife and daughter. You're privileged to get a first row seat. I'm not too crazy with the new Yes lineup.

Thanks for noticing. I lot of people can't even figure that out. You're the first and I commend you for that. Die-hard ASIA fan, my friend. Glad you're for John Wetton and not John Payne. Wetton's the legit! Love Toto, Boston, Kansas and, of course, our Journey host where we take residence.
