Long time journey fan looking to meet others with similar tastes for conversation and perhaps regular hangouts.
I can remember playing in my bedroom when my brother walked in with a Journey cassette tape and plugged it in. My jaw dropped, my toys fell to the ground and I was an instant fan. My brother and I had regular evening Kareoke sessions where we acted out the songs we owned and Journey became a regular favorite. In 2001 I finally got to see Journey LIVE in concert at the Pittsburgh Post Gazette Pavillion and almost cried with joy. I have seen them a few times but the best so far was when they toured with REO Speedwagon and Styxx, perfoming at the Mellon Arena. I had a seat right off the Left side of the stage (igloo section) and probably was the loudest, most excited fan there. I introduced 2 friends to their music that night. (How do you NOT know Journey???) I cannot wait to see them again. On a side note, when I worked for the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Libray, I personally made sure that the library had a copy of all the Journey albums to date. Your Welcome AIP.
If they could clone 1 band in history...I could give you 3 guesses as to who I would choose.
ROCK ON JOURNEY!!!
